This all-metal base serves a three-fold purpose
- Protect the device: High-power charging equipment usually requires a built-in fan for active heat dissipation, and the metal base of the RICOMM 370W charging station serves as an efficient “passive heat sink”, which can greatly improve the overall heat dissipation efficiency.
- Protect the desktop: Separate the main body of the device from the desktop to prevent the heat of the equipment from directly burning expensive or delicate tabletops (such as solid wood and coated tables).
